Topic: Energy Drink Effects
Question: Which energy drink will cause less of a crash? Monster, Amp, Redbull or Venom?

Background Information: Energy drinks are drinks that claim to give you more energy and make you more alert. A 16 oz. can has about 150 mg of caffeine in it. While an 8 oz. can has less than half of that. Energy drinks will make you feel bad and tired also known as crash from high amounts of caffeine and sugar.

Energy drinks have high amounts of caffeine and sugar that will give you a short burst of energy. From experience Monster always makes me the most tired after drinking it, sometimes I fall asleep. Amp makes me kind of tired and less sleepier. Venom makes me barely tired and not sleepy. Redbull doesn't make me tired or sleepy, just very energetic.According to www.healthmad.com every energy causes crash. The only kind of energy drink that doesn't cause crash is natural, organic ones.

Hypothesis: I think Redbull will cause less crash after a few hours I drink it.

Procedure:
  1. Get 1 can of Monster, Amp, Venom and Redbull
  2. Drink one of the energy drinks and wait at least 3 hours to see how you feel.
  3. Record on a piece of paper about how you are feeling.
  4. Repeat this every 2 days for all of the energy drinks.
WARNING- DO NOT DRINK 2 IN THE SAME DAY IT IS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTH!!!!!

Materials:
  • 1 can of Monster
  • 1 can of Amp
  • 1 can of Redbull
  • 1 can of Venom
  • Pencil
  • 1 piece of paper

Data/Results:
Monster- After a few hours I drank the monster I started to fell horrible and very tired. I almost fell asleep by the computer while I was on it.
Amp- After I drank the amp I felt tired and kind of weak, it wasn't as horrible as when I drank the monster.
Venom- After I drank the Venom I didn't feel too tired, and thats about it.
Redbull- After I drank this I didn't feel tired, weak,or horrible at all. I think this one causes less of a crash.

Conclusion:
Which energy drink causes less crash? I thought the Redbull would cause less of a crash. My hypothesis was right, the Redbull caused less of a crash. I made a few mistakes in my experiment though. First I think my question was not good because crash is different for people. So my information wouldn't be accurate.
